The Berlin algorithm was developed to help diagnose axial SpA (axSpA), but new studies suggest some features typical of SpA are less specific than previously assumed. Furthermore, evidence is lacking for other SpA subtypes (e.g. peripheral SpA). We aimed to review the evidence on the performance of SpA features for diagnosing each SpA subtype.

FMF is the most common hereditary monogenic fever syndrome marked by recurrent attacks of fever and polyserositis. Colchicine is the current recommended first-line treatment for FMF. However, a small portion of FMF patients are unresponsive or intolerant to colchicine. Anti-IL-1 agents are alternative treatment options for colchicine-resistant or -intolerant FMF patients. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to provide qualitative and quantitative evidence for the efficacy and safety of anti-IL-1 agents in adult and paediatric FMF patients.

Measurement of digital perfusion, sometimes coupled with a cold challenge, has been widely used as an objective outcome in trials evaluating drug therapies in RP, in addition to patient-reported outcomes or to establish the proof-of-concept in preliminary studies. However, whether digital perfusion is a valid surrogate for clinical outcomes in RP trials has never been explored. The principal aim of this study was to evaluate the potential surrogacy of digital perfusion, by combining individual-level and trial-level data.
34. Neuropsychiatric lupus in late- and early-onset systemic lupus erythematosus patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Late-onset SLE is usually milder and associated with lower frequency of LN and neuropsychiatric manifestations. The diagnosis of NPSLE is especially challenging in older patients because of increased incidence of neurological comorbidities. We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the differences in NPSLE manifestations in early-onset (<50-year-old) vs late-onset (≥50-year-old) SLE patients.

JIA is the most common type of arthritis in children and adolescents, causing joint damage, chronic pain and disability. Deconditioning is also prevalent in patients with JIA due to both inactivity and the disease progression, resulting in reduced cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF). We aimed to evaluate CRF of patients with JIA compared with healthy controls.
