Common to all inflammatory arthritides, namely rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis, is a potential for reduced mobility that manifests through joint pain, swelling, stiffness, and ultimately joint damage. Across these conditions, consensus has been reached on the need to capture outcomes related to mobility, such as functional capacity and physical activity, as core domains in randomised controlled trials. Existing endpoints within these core domains rely wholly on self-reported questionnaires that capture patients' perceptions of their symptoms and activities. These questionnaires are subjective, inherently vulnerable to recall bias, and do not capture the granularity of fluctuations over time. Several early adopters have integrated sensor-based digital health technology (DHT)-derived endpoints to measure physical function and activity in randomised controlled trials for conditions including Parkinson's disease, Duchenne's muscular dystrophy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and heart failure. Despite these applications, there have been no sensor-based DHT-derived endpoints in clinical trials recruiting patients with inflammatory arthritis. Borrowing from case studies across medicine, we outline the opportunities and challenges in developing novel sensor-based DHT-derived endpoints that capture the symptoms and disease manifestations most relevant to patients with inflammatory arthritis.

ANA-associated rheumatic and musculoskeletal (MSK) diseases (RMDs) [SLE, primary SS (pSS), scleroderma, inflammatory myositis, MCTD and UCTD] make up a disease spectrum with overlapping clinical and immunological features. MSK inflammation is common and impactful across ANA-associated RMDs. The objectives of this study were to evaluate MSK inflammation (ANA-associated arthritis) prevalence in a multidisease ANA-associated RMD study, assess its clinical impact across ANA-associated RMD diagnoses, propose new basket groupings of patients, and evaluate immunological profiles in legacy and new basket contexts.

Therefore, this study aimed to investigate whether the diagnostic accuracy for PMR could be enhanced by combining FDG-PET/CT findings with the clinical baseline diagnosis or the 2012 ACR/EULAR clinical classification criteria for PMR.

There is limited knowledge on cognitive performance in Behçet's disease (BD), the majority of which come from patients with neuro-Behçet's disease. However, the influence of BD on cognitive function in patients without neurological involvement is still not well understood.The aim of the study was to determine the frequency of cognitive involvement in BD patients without evident neuropsychiatric symptoms and to identify associated clinical variables in those patients.

Today, patients with inflammatory joint diseases participate in more physical activities, including sports and recreation. The tools currently used to assess quality of life and functioning in rheumatic diseases, available in Polish, do not address these problems. The Rheumatoid and Arthritis Outcome Score (RAOS) questionnaire was developed but is not available in the Polish language. This tool is used to evaluate the functional limitations of physically active people who suffer from arthritis and associated lower limb disorders. The objective of this study is the translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the RAOS into Polish.

The objective of this study was to evaluate disease activity and fatigue in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis (including psoriatic arthritis) depending on their dietary preferences.
